As an established and trusted dental practice in Marietta, we have come to love and value the community we serve. In fact, building relationships with our patients is a top priority. While we are exceedingly equipped to provide full service dental care to patients of all ages, we also value the importance of giving back to a community that continues to be so good to us. In doing so, Gilreath Family Dentistry is proud to have once again reached out and facilitated support for our local Women’s Shelter, operated by LiveSAFE in Marietta.
For the second consecutive year, our practice made Christmas a little brighter for the women and children who live at the Women’s Shelter. Through our handmade ornaments and Giving Tree Project, our patients stepped in to make 41 Christmas Lists come true for the children, and up to 40 women also received Target gift cards from our family dental practice.
The Women’s Shelter is a non-profit organization and safe-haven for women who have been victims of domestic abuse. This project was organized and facilitated by our lead hygienist Kelly Armitage. It is a privilege to serve these women and their children while also witnesses the generosity of our patients as they contribute to the gifts.
At Gilreath Family Dentistry, we pride ourselves on doing dental care different. Though we provide patients with a large number of preventative and cosmetic procedures each year, we are a “family practice” made up of many two- and three-generation families that have spent decades in our care. We place a strong value on the trust that our patients give us, and the opportunity to give back to our community alongside our “dental family” is a privilege.
